waiting for the parade
i went to the chinese new years parade in san francisco saturday. i never would have thought i would have waited on the curb for a parade for over 2 hours …. but i did, and it was worth every minute of the wait. i read for awhile and then as the crowds started gathering in ernest i took out my camera and decided to photograph some of those waiting. they were almost as interesting as the parade itself.
